Your databases. Your server. Our designers.

VizGenesys is the platform operations teams use to query, report, import, export, and convert data — without parking customer databases in our cloud. You install the client next to MySQL or SQL Server. Licenses, users, and job designs live here.

Trial creates your account and first site, then gives you the client package to copy onto IIS or Apache.

What each product does

License only what a site needs. Query is always on. Reportix, Importix, Exportix, Convertix, and Branding are per-site flags you pick at signup or later.

Included

Query

The designer every site gets. Build and save SQL against the connections on your server. Reports, exports, and conversions hang off those queries.

  • Visual query designer with live test against MySQL / MariaDB / SQL Server
  • Optional AI assistant for SQL (when the host has it enabled)
  • Prompts and parameters for the people who run the job
  • The same query can drive a report, an export, or a conversion
Reportix

PDF reports

Pixel layout for operational documents — statements, work orders, certificates — not a generic chart pack.

  • Banded designer: headers, details, groups, footers
  • Test from the designer, then run from a prompt or another application
  • Spool history so a run can be opened again without hitting the database
  • HTTP API so GEMS / PHPRunner / your own app can list and run jobs
Importix

File import

Map inbound files onto tables you already own. The import job is designed once; operators run it when the file arrives.

  • CSV and TXT / DAT layouts with a sample-file preview
  • Field mapping, constants, expressions, and date conversion
  • Insert, update, upsert, or skip-if-exists against the chosen table
  • Match keys so repeats update the right row instead of duplicating
Exportix

File export

Turn a saved query into a file other systems expect — flat or nested — without a one-off script every time.

  • CSV, TXT / DAT, JSON, and XML
  • Header / break / detail / footer record types for nested text files
  • Padding, comma masks, and system values (today, row number)
  • Downloads and a viewer so staff can fetch the last file
Convertix

Database conversion

Move a database between MySQL/MariaDB and Microsoft SQL Server as a guarded job, not a weekend of hand SQL.

  • Four-step designer: connections, database, schema mapping, run
  • Creates the target database, tables, and primary keys, then copies data in chunks
  • Secondary indexes after the load
  • Destructive runs require the owner/admin and typed confirmation of the target name
Branding

Your mark on the product

When a site is licensed for branding, designers and the runtime show that organization’s logo. A small “by VizGenesys” line stays under it.

  • Logo and theme for dashboard, Query, Report, Import, Export, Convert
  • Theme is available without branding; the custom logo requires the license
  • Clear the logo anytime to return to the VizGenesys mark

From the web to a working site

You do not design jobs in our cloud against your production data. The public site is for account, license, and the client download.

1

Start a trial

Register an account, name the first site, and tick the products that site may use.

2

Install the client

Download the package and copy the folder onto your IIS, Apache, or nginx server.

3

Connect your database

Add Connections on that server. Test uses 127.0.0.1 or the host you intend — it never opens your LAN from ours.

4

Design and run

Users, groups, and job layouts are stored on the VizGenesys host. SQL to your data runs locally.

What stays on VizGenesys

The host is the system of record for the product: accounts, sites, licenses, users, groups, connection records, and the layouts of queries, reports, imports, exports, and conversions.

One IT login can own several business sites. Each site has its own licenses and connections. Sign in once, then pick the business.

What stays with you

Customer data never has to leave your network. The client PHP process opens MySQL or SQL Server the same way your other intranet apps do.

Other applications call VizGenesys over HTTP with a token. They keep using their own database credentials.

Stand up a site this afternoon

Create the account here, then run the client next to the database you already operate.
